ingredients to make chilli aioli pasta

This is a very simply and tasty supper idea of home-made chilli aioli stirred through freshly boiled tagliolini pasta with red seaweed caviar.

Mediterranean Delicacies makes this original and innovative product called Red Seaweed Cavi-Art which resembles caviar but is a delicacy made from seaweed. I totally love how it tastes of the sea without in any way being fishy.

I had been playing around making aioli and added chilli to some which complimented this perfectly.  This dish in fact later evolved into somehting a bit more complex but I had already taken the photo.

I added finely chopped parsley, capers and a few anchovies to it and enjoyed a truly delicious and almost instant supper.

It really doesn’t warrant a recipe, just boil pasta to al dente and stir through enough aioli to coat the strands. Add some freshly chopped chilli to taste and just enough seaweed caviar to taste. I can also recommend adding the other bits that I did.

    I’ve been wanting to try that seaweed caviar, this dish sounds/looks really good so I think it’s the perfect time to try it.
