I LOVE cooking with garlic…. use it all the time in everything. My absolute best was smoked garlic from which I made a divine infused oil
Everything tastes better with cinnamon, it’s adding love to food
I’m loving eggs right now: the whites in all their different incarnations: macaroons, meringues and a heavenly meringue date dessert I found recently… and then the sunshiny glory of lemon curd, the deliciousness of a silky creme brulee, and of course… my newfound excitement for poached eggs now that I have PoachPods from Yuppiechef!
Definitely fresh herbs! Especially home grown ones.
Wow, what a difficult choice to make. I have so many favorite ingredients. But an all-time favorite has to be my extra virgin olive oil. I’ll die without olive oil in my house. I have quite a variety ranging from basil and lemon infused and the plain old extra virgin ones. I add it to anything: fronm using it in my stews, to salad dressings sauces, pasta and just drizzled over anything edible.
