Sammy, your pictures are fantastic, your website is beautiful. I love the words, the photos, the recipes (which sound delicious and I will try), and the idea; and your commitment to your passion is inspiring.
Sammi, you are a culinary delight! Your seamless effort in creating the most divinely decadent dishes is beyond me….wow, your food, your photo’s, your creativity in the kitchen…not to mention the name drizzle and dip…conjures up everything you do with such incredible finesse and style. Congrats my love xx
I have visited so many sites on the internet in search of new recipes to try, but I have never come across such an awesome website – with simple ingredients made into extraordinarily delicious dishes, with beautiful photographs to match. This site showcases so many of your wonderful talents, Sam – baking, cooking, food styling and photography, and I am so proud of you. Well done! xxxx
Kerry, Nikki and Nicky – thank you so much for your very kind and encouraging words

Hi Samantha
I had a look through your wonderful photographs and as I work on the Food and Beverage Marketing side at Cape Grace, I’m often involved with photoshoots. Now, as ‘everyone’s a photographer’ you can imagine that each department has their own idea of what the pics should look like – with that in mind, do you perhaps know if there is a course being offered for photo and food styling – or is it something you just have a feeling for? In an environment like ours, where Operations over takes bigger picture thinking, it sometimes helps to have a little ‘ammo’ in order to get the best out the photographer’s time. If you know of such a course or how one best goes about it, I’d love to hear from you,
Many thanks and kindest regards

This is a dangerous site to visit at the end of the day… I have yet to make supper but my mouth is watering! Amazing food, styling and photography!
Thank you Kathryn!
Absolutely beautiful work. Great composition, framing, and lighting.
Thank you Geoffrey
What a delight your recipes, photography and blog are. Thank you. Once question, in what country do you live?
Thank you for the kind words Debbie, I’m based in Cape Town South Africa.
Sam, so inspiring meeting you at Joss’ party yesterday. I’m very excited to keep up with your blog all the stunning recipes and tips I’ve seen so far. I’m seriously keen on an evening out and chat obsessively about food and wine (and margaritas). Have you ever had the Roquefort dressing at willoughby’s? Any tips or recipe for a good one I can try?
Hi Brooke, lovely to meet you too and a foodie catch up / gathering is so on the cards. We should do El Burro because you haven’t been. I don’t know the Willoughby’s Roquefort dressing, I make my own with a nice blue cheese (I love Danish blue or Gorgonzola) and mayo (can thin it down with milk)

Hi Sam,
These photo’s are so good, I’m almost tempted into licking the screen (luckily I share an office). Just want to know, how do you become a food stylist?
