The Bay Food & Wine Market in Hout Bay -situated under La Cuccina

Over the last couple of years it’s been wonderful to see more food markets popping up around the Peninsula.

The latest market is the Bay Food & Wine Market in Hout Bay. Conceptualised and managed by the owners of the well known Hout Bay deli La Cuccina, its situated in the parking area below the restaurant.

Its open every Saturday from 9.30 am – 2.30pm and has a little bit of everything there.

This is what you will find:

beautiful fresh flower bouquets, oysters, cheese and a lot of space to move around
a spectacular array of seafood from La Cuccina, fresh norwegian salmon, tuna and fresh prawns with lemon butter or peri peri
a large range of breads and other baked goodies by coimbra bakery
not overcrowded, spacious and ideal to take the family
freshly sliced biltong, home made quiches, cakes and delicious brownies
