I was invited to experience the current Greenhouse Winter Menu lunch special on Saturday and I was blown away by it. This is one one of my favourite restaurants and it sits firmly on my list of recommended places to eat in Cape Town.
The Winter Menu is a 3 course with wine pairing or not. We opted for the pairing because that is always the right way to go. A clever sommelier and the chefs have spent time finding wines that perfectly match the nuances of each dish so it doesn’t get better than that.
The snacks to start are a next level amuse and really such a tantalising treat. You get three taste sensations.
Then the bread course will inspire with mielie bread, popcorn butter, bacon brioche & banana cream
Chefs Peter Tempelhoff and Ashley Moss have put together a world class dining experience and I can’t recommend this highly enough. The menu is available for lunch until the end of August so hurry!
