A lunch at vondeling with Bertus Basson
Last Sunday, I enjoyed a stunning lunch at Vondeling Wine Estate in Voor Paardeberg prepared by the incredible Bertus Basson. It was my first time on the farm, which is located a little off the beaten track in a very beautiful part of the Western Cape Winelands.

The food was delicious, rustic and plentiful, with unique Bertus Basson touches and South African flavours. Lunch was enjoyed with a variety of fabulous Vondeling wines, and the whole day was a Sunday feast and treat of note.
