Sights from neighbourgoods market on saturday

This post is an older post of mine featuring images from a local Cape Town food Market. If you are visiting the city you might want to consider visiting the Oranjezicht City Farmers Market which is the better market to visit these days. Many of the traders that were at the Biscuit Mill are now at OZFM.

The Oranjezicht City Farm Market (OZCFM) is the biggest and best food market in Cape Town and a must-visit place for any foodie in Cape Town. Frequented weekly by locales and tourists, it’s both a lifestyle market (ie they have ready-to-eat food and a bar), as well as a place to purchase local artisan food products. Open on Wednesday night with a limited market (5 pm – 9 pm) and Saturday and Sunday with a full market (9 am – 2 pm).

I keep this post up on my website because it still gets a lot of traffic from Pinterest.

On Saturday I visited the Neighbourgoods Market at the Biscuit Mill for an exciting market-brunch launch. I hadn’t visited the market in a while and it was wonderful to go back. I love chatting to my friends who work there and generally seeing what is new.

  4. We’re not really into markets here unfortunately but we do have some small ones in the weekend. You have to hunt them out.
