Recipes to make your dad on fathers day

Fathers day is happening this Sunday so wanted to share a few recipes you could make to spoil the the dude who raised you. I won’t be with my dad on Sunday, but if I was, this is what I would consider making for him.

Roast chicken in white wine, herbs & garlic

This recipe, and permutations of it with stout, or using a whole bird is the only way I ever want to eat my roast chicken. Once this is in your cooking repertoire, you will never look back. Your dad will also be very happy.

While we are still on chicken, this is another delicious recipe and easier to make than it looks.

I fell in love with jerk chicken last year, and although I didn’t grow up with it, I’m sure my dad would love it. Also, chicken and rice = #heaven

An all round crowd-pleasing recipe that’s easy to make than lasagne.

Ginger beer pulled pork in gua bau

This recipe cooks itself in the slow cooker for hours so you can busy yourself making the bao and feel very cheffy.

Roast beef with chimichurri and fries with lemon & rosemary salt

If your dad likes meat, this roast rib eye on the bone is the way to go. The fries are elevated to food heaven by adding lemon and rosemary salt. Chimichurri on the side for all the flavour.
