Tagliatelle with roasted butternut & mascarpone sauce and pan fried mushrooms

I couldn’t let a day like #WorldPastaDay go by unnoticed on DrizzleandDip. I’m travelling in Italy at the moment and eating my body weight in the stuff along with amazing gelato, cakes, pizza and, and, and. I’ve always wondered who makes up these food named days and how they become a thing on social media? Please drop me a comment if you can throw any light on how they come about. Anyway it’s here, and it’s as real as my love for it, so these are a few of  my best pasta recipes on DrizzleandDip:

Tagliatelle with roasted butternut and mascarpone sauce

This is one of my all-time favourite pasta sauce recipes as it breaks away from the more conventional and uses the roasted butternut creamed with Mascarpone to make a decadent but delicious sauce. I often include crispy pancetta into the mix as this adds a lovely salty element to the dish.

Classic and delicious. These meatballs are tender and always a winner.

Meatball & spinach ravioli bake

Here the meatballs get cooked with the spinach & ricotta ravioli in a tomato sauce and are then topped off with delectable fresh mozzarella to make this a super easy and super comforting pasta dish. I added spinach to the mix to add greens and its delicious.

This is one of those dishes that is way more interesting than it looks or sounds. Packed with flavour, its a delicious recipe that will have you slurping up the pasta ribbons and wanting more. It certainly is my best way to eat broccoli.
