My best winter comfort recipes

Winter has settled into Cape Town and all I want is to eat are these comforting recipes. After a disastrous year, we could all do with a little more of it anyway.

If this hearty pie with a splash of ale isn’t comforting I don’t know what is.
Easy pork pie with sage & apple
My favourite giant sausage roll recipe can be made into smaller ones too.
Lamb shank pie with red wine, rosemary & bay
A showstopping dish that’s worth all the effort.
Jamie Oliver’s fantastic fish pie
THE one and only fish pie for me and a perennial favourite on Drizzleanddip.
